I am able to play games like BLOPS2 and Watch Dogs on low-medium at smooth framerates 60~ with vert sync and other games like LoL MW2 SC2 and D3 on high graphics settings at 60fps but on games like watch dogs and BLOPS2 my laptops gpu temp gets up to 85C so i figured lowering the settings to all low would fix the issue yet theres no change in fps and no change in temps it makes no sense that 60fps 85C at medium and 1080p would be the same as 60fps at lowest @720p??? anyone have any ideas of why it does this ?


Specs that are important :
Intel i7 3610Q 2.30ghz(3.3ghz max )
GTX 660m
8gb ram

BlOps2 and Watch_Dogs are much more graphic intensive than LoL, MW2, SC2, and D3. Throw in the fact that Watch_Dogs has performance issues on PC and it's really no surprise your laptop can't run them well.

The thing is...it does run them smoothly im just wondering why there is no change in usage or temperature anywhere from being at 1080p medium settings(30-40fps consitent) to 800x600(60fps always) lowest settings.... i play it fine at about 440p without going over 80c but im just wondering if there is something up with my laptop maybe
