I am looking for videocards for my new PC build (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2242157/building-gaming-setup-good-improvements.html), and I've stumbled upon two videocards.. One is 5 euro's more, but I can't find what the difference is, other than the name. The 1st one is called a Asus R9270X-DC2-4GD5, and the second one a Asus R9270X-DC2T-4GD5.

I'm googling, but can't seem to find anything yet.. Can anyone inform me what this T stands for and what difference it makes?

I'm reading that the T means that it is factory overclocked. What I don't get is.. Why is the factory overclocked one cheaper? I'd expect exactly the opposite..?

Alright, thank you :) Any explanation for why this TOP version is cheaper? I marked this as the answer btw.

I haven't been tracking it as I try to stay away from AMD products, but I believe the TOP version is the replacement for the earlier non-TOP variant. I just did a quick price search on PCPartPicker U.S., and only came up with TOP variants. I would guess that the lower pricing is an effort to gain more market share in the Radeon market. Asus does pretty well already in the Nvidia zone.
