what's the problem?

i use windows 7 64 bit and realtek high definition audio.. i cant get any sound in videos while playing far cry 3, cod ghost,black ops , alan wake etc... but there is no problem with other sounds in the game .. like shooting sounds, walking sounds .... what's the problem? [ i updated the drivers after having this problem. but i didn't work]

have you set up the in-game audio correctly?

Check in-game audio settings and Realtek's control panel settings. You might have inadvertently set a 5.1/7.1 channel setup, whereas your setup is 2/2.1, thus you don't hear some sounds while you hear some others.

there is no in-game setting problem.... my audio channel is seted up as stereo.... i cant find 2 or 2.1... how can i set that up?

2/2.1 is stereo

Does audio go away only in game videos? Do you hear game music AND sound effects when videos aren't playing? Does it happen as well with a different video? (a video file on your computer or a youtube video)
