So I was wondering if my rig is a good gaming rig.

GPU: Asus GTX 650 Ti BOOST 2gb

CPU: AMD FX-6100 3.3 GHZ

RAM: 8gb

HDD: 1tb

Also, any ideas on what I could upgrade to make it much better ? I'm also a decently intense gamer.

Solution
I would upgrade your CPU to higher FX series like 8350 (this would take you to the top of the performance chart)

AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ $189

The upgrade would be best with new motherboard from your $49 board. Something like this"
ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990X + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s $134
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131874

Upgrade your GPU to the 670 series, (see chart, that takes you up 2 spots)

EVGA 02G-P4-2763-KR GeForce GTX 760 2GB...

I have a 600W power supply. My mother board is quite awful, it's a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2.

Also, I was thinking of getting a new mother board, another 1TB Hard Drive, and another 650 Ti Boost that I could SLI, would that be a good rig ? Or should I go better for the new games that will be coming out ?

You did not list the brand of your power supply, but make sure if you do upgrade it is of good quality and not some low level brand that will fail. Buy something of quality like seasonic, corsair or thermaltake, like this:
Thermaltake Toughpower TPD-0650M - SLI/ CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Gold Certification $99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153199

I dont know your budget but these are examples to significantly increase your performance. Also, I dont know your existing case. You have to make sure the parts will fit inside the case. Good luck.

Thanks ! Although, I'm only 13 years old. So it's very hard for me to make that kind of money, and my parents just got my the 650 Ti BOOST for my birthday a few months ago, so I don't think they would be too happy about that. But I will definitely look into it :)
