Good power supply for new pc?

A couple other observations:

- You selected the 4790S over the 4790. PC Case Gear is actually selling the 4790S, a lower clocked (and less power consuming) 4790 for $20 more. Here it's typically the opposite.

- Are you sure you need the i7? You haven't specified what the build is for. If it's a gaming build, you're not really going to get much from the 4790 that you won't get from a 4690. You could use those savings and go from a 770 to an R9 290.

yeah i meant to pick the 4790 (i was just using pccg to put the list together easily, just hit the wrong button)
if you reckon that i can get similar performance from a 4690 i might switch to that, would you suggest the 4690 or the 4690k?
also, i was thinking of getting an amd card, but found out they dont support physX and im fairly sure i need that to run some of my games a bit better, so i went for the nvidia
