I just purchased Microsoft Windows 8.1 - Full Version (32 & 64-bit), I'm still waiting on it to come in. What I was wondering is can I put this on my PC that Im running right now a laptop I have and My gaming PC that im still ordering parts for and use the same key.

I have heard that I can as long as im not using to os at the same time, so does that mean i cant have a movie going on my desktop and play a game on my laptop at the same time?

Reading the 8.1 License Terms, you are permitted to install the operating system on ONE computer at any given time. What you are describing is technically against the terms of the software license, though Microsoft may or may not punish you for doing so.

That said, if you wish to run 8.1 on your laptop, then run 8.1 on your new computer and remove 8.1 from the laptop, that is permitted. Of course, that would mean downgrading to whatever was already running on your laptop and reverifying it, which can run from mildly annoying to near impossible depending on how the manufacturer handles licensing. Personally, I would recommend just waiting for the new system to be built.
