I have about 10 movies i would like to keep somewhere safe while i re-install windows or upgrade, whichever i can do first. I have google drive but it seems to take a century for just one movie to upload. Can i burn the image to a CD-rom for later extraction onto my computer for burning? I have already tried to create an FTP server which seems a bit tedious and too much work just for movies.

More about : storing movie files dvd rom

an external drive would be more convenient, a lot more space than dvd or even bluray.

A new dvd disk is maybe 10 cents. Just get some disks and burn your files onto that, or use an external drive which would be a lot faster.

If the DVD is write protected it means it was closed for further writting.
