Im thinking of upgrading my computer now when cash is abit higher then normaly,

i just bought new memory since they were on sale and additional ram is always nice.

What i currently do have

Motherboard: Asus M4A77
CPU: AMD Athlon ll x4 635 2,90 GHz
Ram: 8gb Corsair DDR2 800 MHz
Graphic: ATI radeon 5670

i suspect the graphic is the culprit in my pc,

ill switch out motherboard cpu and ram to get more up to date things later on but it's going to be expensive since i need to buy it all at once.
the first 4gb of my ram is about 12 years old.

If graphic is the culprit i would prefer to stick with ATI and no nvidia,
(i have had 2 sets of nvidia cards and both broke 1 week after purchase, only one ati has ever broken)

also i'm on a budget so max 140 us dollars for upgrades.

A GTX 750 Ti would be a worthwhile upgrade and it would not tax your system much as it's a low power card for its class, but has GTX 660 performance and cost around your budget too.

Well, around, a mild OC can get you into GTX 660 levels but uses less power from the PSU too.

I don't think power is an issue sure my power thing is about 12 years old but it was a beast when i bought it, costed the most of everything, nearly half the price of the full setup with keyboard, mouse and monitor was just the power setup, only thing that stands on it are Coolermaster and productnumbers nothing we can make use of. but i know it has an effect of 500w

I can use nvidia i just have bad experience with them and i don't want to sit there with a broken graphic card and can't do anything until i get it replaced.

For a 12 your old PSU, its doesn't matter how many watts, it's how much amps it can safely push on the 12 volt rails. Since its old, then it has less amps to conform with the cards that where out when your PSU was new back then. It may have been beastly then, but today, it's a dinosaur and I would upgrade.

Also, buy EVGA as that is one of the best brands for graphics cards and their warranty service is hands down the best in the industry and has been for years.

Everything needs to be upgraded but i can't afford it so i need to upgrade in sessions and pick the most important to the less important ones.

I see, still for now, an EVGA GTX 750 Ti would work great with your current PC and EVGA will take care of you if your card ever has issues, their customer service is great and that's why I trust EVGA products.

The gtx 750 ti from evga is abit to expensive for my budget, the gtx 750 is in my budget, But i checked all graphic cards that are in my budget in my country,

XFX Radeon HD7850 1GB One problem does a vga to dvi-d or dvi-i adapter exist? im using a dual monitor setup and the support monitor i use is old and only has vga connection if not that graphic is a no no.

Sapphire R7 260X 2GB OC it's like 2-3 bucks above budget. this one has the same only a DVI and a HDMI and i need someway to use my VGA monitor. (this one is over clocked by the company and has 1050MHz i would think clock frequency would be the translation.

ASUS RADEON R7 260 1GB

ASUS GeForce GTX 750 PH 1GB OC

the the EVGA GTX 750, the Ti is about 50 bucks above budget here were i live.

Yeah depending on the game.. But then the 660 overclocks well too, so...

But anyway, its a good card regardless.

Wich one of these would be the better one.

ASUS GeForce GTX 750 PH 1GB OC
ASUS Radeon R7 260 1GB

both of those say they req 400w power, and i know mine is a 500w but as El Tigre said mines old so i would think a 400w would work but a 500w req could be a problem.
plus these are sold by a shop that takes no shipment costs so all in all these 2 are the cheapest of all since i don't need to pay for shipment. and would these be any major upgrades so it's noticeable?

750>260. 750 should be faster and waste less power than 260. You will only need 300w for 750.

What about the 750 Ti? from looking at the price tag i can probably save the exta 20 bucks on food for a month and get that one insted, is it much better then the 750? and from the shops here it reqs 500w but nvidia says min 300w

750 ti only requires 300W and for 20 more dollars, is the better option.

There are no stupid questions here. It would be stupider not to ask, as you will never know :)

Yeah, ask us, I was once a noob too, lol. But do save a bit more for the 750 Ti, it's worth it and would be a good card for your system and you'll enjoy high settings for most modern games.
