The temperatures in PC are way too hot!
my I5 4690K is idle at 45-50c and my GPU at 50-55!!!
Motherboard 46-50 , HDD at 44...
What is causing all these? And when i tried to play BF3 my fps were 140-160 average everything maxed out but after 1 minute a VERY LOUD scary noise came from my case and it stoped only when i closed BF3. i checked temperatures with Speeccy and my card was at 83c , my CPU at 74+ ! :(
What Do I need to do to stop that noise? My CPU is using the stock fan.Do I need to get a new one? Please help.

also sorry for bad English, English is not my native language

get a new CPU fan, Hyper 212Plus.
Which GPU do you use? Clean it/them with canned air to get out the dust.
Add one or more case fans.
Turn up fan speed in BIOS

Loud noise was probably GPU fan kicking up to High RPMs

Which case?
Yes, you should defiantly get a better CPU fan if you want lower temperatures. Especially if you over clock or anything. Even if not, it will lower temperatures significantly.

Loud noise is defiantly R9 fan. It is loud.

idle heat is just built up from the heat in your PC case. More fans will help that.

It could be that your current tower has poor airflow. You can try organizing all your cables behind the motherboard tray if your case has space. If not, then use zip ties to tie your wires together to be more organized and also allow for better airflow. Make sure you have enough case fans and add more if you have less than 4 as any gaming PC on air cooling should have more since you have a high end GPU that puts out heat. Also getting the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo is a great budget CPU cooler that wil help a ton vs the junk factory cooler. Also clean out all fans that have dust on them with a can of air or an air compressor to clean them as the dust will slow down and heat up your components.

The loud noise is a thermal alarm, probably because of the CPU.
The case that you have will determine what CPU coolers can fit. What case do you have? If there is a place for it, install a front intake fan.
For the CPU cooler, I generally recommend any 120mm tower-style cooler other than the frequently parroted Hyper212 EVO. That one is not a bad cooler, however competitors including Enermax, NZXT, Masscool, etc. often have similar coolers (+/- 1C-2C depending on fans) for less money (right now, $30 vs. $35). This usually makes the Hyper212 EVO a bang/buck Loser, and I prefer not to recommend Losers. Right now, however, there IS a $10 MIR on the EVO, so if you play that game (and win), it would be ok. Check out the competition though, especially if you don't play the rebate game.

Im thinking to go for a good air cooler or a CORSAIR HYDRO SERIES H60 HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID CPU COOLER and install 2 more fans for my case.
The CPU right now is idle at 41-43c while my GPU at 50...so maybe the CPU heat affects my case really bad.
I hope a good aircooling or the watercooling that I said above will work well.

it will. Though in my opinion, an h60 is a waste. Better off with a HYPER 212+ or good air cooler. Case fans are a must. If you want a closed loop water, I would opt for at least h80 or h80i. if you have room for dual radiator, 100i

looking back at your original post, your GPU isn't that hot, but it is hot. Probably from the built up heat in your case. Case fans and a good Pull/Push arrangement will help this. As will a better CPU cooler (which sounds like it is producing the most heat)

Air coolers offer one specific advantage over CLC coolers that almost certainly applies in your case, and that is that they increase airflow over motherboard components (e.g. the VRMs) which can also overheat.
If you are able to install [more] fans in your case, make sure they are arranged to create flow through it, not just blowing in random directions.

ok guys the only problem was that i was playing BF3 at 160+ fps average and that made the CPU overheat.I now play with V-sync on at locked 60fps and everything is fine.I will buy a H60 watercooler for the CPU and maybe an aftermarket cooler for my GPU.
Thanks for the help
