Ok so i brought a new motherboard and a new cpu and ram and after i mounted all the pieces together in the case i opened the pc and the windows got stuck. I figured out that i had to reinstall the os but my old dvd reader isnt compatible with my new mobo.
I mounted back my old mobo and i installed windows xp bcuz it was the only cd i had.
I mounted back the new pieces and even tho i didnt install and drivers it didnt start.
I booted the windows on a usb stick(w7) from the old mobo and i mounted the new pieces and now my pc wont turn on. I think it must be the cable that goes from my power button to the mobo. It has to go into panel1 but i tried every spot and it won't turn on. Can anyone help me please?
My new cpu and mobo are pentium g3220 and asrock h81m-dgs and my old ones are amd athlon x2 5200 and nf4am2l.
Is it possible that i have broken the panel? I was very careful.
I would appreciate some help, sorry for my bad english.
