BSOD Memory management

I am having BSODs a lot when I'm trying to update windows 8. More specifically I had three MEMORY_MANAGEMENT problems, I tried sfc /scannow but in the middle I came across a blue screen which said memory management, this was the first computer I built and having problems with it. Thanks in advance

I switched the position of my ram from first slot to the second slot and this time I actually got sfc /scannow to run all the way through. Unfortunately I got this"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log." Then when I tried it again I got this "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation."
