m5a97 LE r2.0 overclocking

So I got the m5a97 LE r2.0, not knowing that the vrm chips did not have a heatsink. I currently have an and fx 8320 and it is essentially an 8350 underclocked. So I was wondering if I could oc it to 4.0 ghz maybe higher depending on what you guys say.

You probably will be OK going for 4GHZ. That is the turbo freq on that chip anyway. Albeit not with all four modules at once, though. But I wouldn't have any issue if it were mine. Keep an eye on chipset temps. Of course, you could always try to find an aftermarket chipset cooler. Be sure to disable turbo in bios before OC'ing. And have an aftermarket cooler installed. But your board doesn't have very good phase design power. I'm guessing 4+2 for that board.
