I've been searching for an intro to PC gaming. Is this good for the money? I don't want to build one. Any upgrade recommendations?

Instead of buying the FX-9370, I would get the FX-8320 instead (since it's free upgrade from FX-6300) and use the money to get a better GPU. You can upgrade to a R9 280 for the same cost. You should get 50+ fps on most games at max settings.
