neweggs new arrival

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?
Item=N82E16817207035&cm_re=xfx_power_supply-_-17-207-035-_-Product

they seem to have 2 xfx at the same 69 dollar price on newegg as I posted above. (I am open to other suggestions and brands, If there is a better psu for a better price I can go with that) BTW I do not know what TIER these are, I do not see them on the list. I saw someone on here recommend it, but I am a noob so I need all the help I can get thank you.

parts list: amd 8350 - HD 6970 - 8 gbsniper 1866 ram - GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3 mobo - corsair 450d case - kingston 240gb SSD - dvd-rw drive - I will also be pugging in headsets and 2 extra 140mm fans (NOTE I will not be overclocking)

That may be as well, yeah, it appears XFX like confusing with their names. That page on newegg for the TS 550W Bornze has been changed from the XFX Pr0 550W, as they are now shipping the TS instead, lol.

XFX TS 550W Bronze is an updated version of the XFX 550W Pro. As the TS claims to be Haswell Compatible, Pro wasn't.

to confuse things more there is also an... XFX TS 550W Gold , that uses a different OEM unit.

The XFX 550W TS Bronze will be the one to buy, the new arrival page appears to be them setting up a page to sell off the old XFX Pro 550W stock.

Scampi do you think the 550W will more than cover my build?

Yes, they are ideal for a single GPU system. Your setup is minimal i.e you don't have half a dozen HDD's & you say your not overclocking.

These are quality true rated units, which means they output almost all of that 550W advertised as amps on the 12v rail. Right where you need it essentially, the 12v rail powers your power hungry CPU/GPU.
