ok very odd issue
so i built a pc.
i have a maximus vii gene motherboard it has built in lan
i also have a wireless card attached
at my place it works fine connecting to wireless internet so i went to set it up
i plugged in the wired connection and went to test and it would not work not only that the wireless internet did not ether.
tried restarting with wired unplugged still nothing.
tried unplugging the wireless card and only had the wired set up nothing
carried it back home and wireless works great wireless.

so i pulled out my giant Ethernet cord and pluged it in and once again the wired failed but this time the wireless kept working

a few notes other devises are on this network so i know its not down
when the Ethernet cable is not plugged in the network settings list it as existing
but when i plugged the Ethernet cable in the computer acted like there was no lan or any othe kind of physical connection

when on location the same thing happened to the wirless where it was acting like it could not conect to the card

im confused and need help

i got it working not sure wich of the recent things i did fixed it but for those that have a simler problum
i cleared the bios (even thog i never changed anything
unplugged and plugged in the wirless card a cople times
i re did both the updates to the wireless card and the motherboards lan port
dont know why the wireless port would need to be updated to fix the lan but what ever
ran the ausus test that was on the driver page(this should have had no effect as its just a test)

thats everything i think i did
