Hi, I have an Intel 1037U motherboard with 1 PCIE 8X slot. The problem is that this slot has a male PCIE 8X connector and not female connector as usual. How can I connect a PCIE 8X card on it? Is there a female to female cable or riser I could use?

Please see my board in the above picture. Motherboard is in the right and the PCIE card I want to connect is in the left.

Is 1037U the motherboard's actual model number or the CPU's? From what I'm seeing, 1037U refers an FCBGA1023 Celeron CPU.

Does your motherboard's manual actually say this is a PCIE slot? The odd placement could be for some completely different purpose.

Right next to that PCIE-like connector, there appears to be an unpopulated BGA land grid. I would suspect the edge connector is related to the missing chip.
