Exactly as the title says Sapphire Dual-X R9 270X won't work in Z77 Sabertooth PCI-e x16 Slot . I have the latest BIOS update. I also tried to change the PCI slot in BIOS but everytime I get the loading screen for windows 8 but the login screen is just black. Tried all three PCI-e 3.0 slots but only the bottom one works for some reason. Please help

It's ok after many many tests and trials... I have figured it was windows 8.1 that failed and could not install drivers so I switched to 7 and it works perfectly. I feel really stupid not realising it was the drivers *facepalm*

Yea I have done all that sort of thing. The motherboard recognises it, and the graphics card works fine in other pc's but as soon as the drivers start to kick it I get a black screen
