Hi!

I have a i7-4771 and I plan to change the stock cooler on it. I doesn't want a top-flow cooler, but my case is small, it only accepts max 154mm towers. My choices for tower heatsinks are limited. I choose a Zalman CNPS10X Optima. It comes with a "shark-blade" fan, but it accepts a second one. I have already two CM Jetflo, one is side panel intake, on is rear exthaust right now. I can't use the side panel intake anymore, once I installed the cpu heatsink.

I plan to install one Jetflo as 'pull' to the tower. How would it be better?
1. Push: stock zalman shark-blade fan. Pull: Jetflo, Rear: Jetflo
2. Push: Jetflo. Pull: Jetflo. Rear: zalman
3. Push: Jetflo. Pull: zalman Rear: Jetflo

The Jetflo-s are pretty strong, but loud as well, I have enough PWM ports to control them, but I'm worried, two Jetflo-s as a cpu fans will be very noisy, once the cpu heats up.

What do you think?

I would go with the "standard" fan and see what temps you get. After that I would focus on improving case ventilation before I put a 2nd fan on the cooler itself.

I'm always worried that if the two fans aren't designed to work together, they may impede the airflow more than help it.

Yes, that's why I'm asking. Though, I doesn't have any more slots for the side fan, bit it has to come down, because the cnps10x can't fit otherwise. So, the only place I can put the second JetFlo is the heatsink.

So you have no intake on the front or bottom? That could be a problem, you're going to push the air out the back, but rely on that reduced pressure to move cool air into the case?

There is a preinstalled intake fan in the front, but it's tricky to acces, I doesn't want to change it,

Next weekend I install the cooler, and I'll try different setups. I might can't install the Jetflo on the heatsink, the JetFlo screw hole doesn't have a gap between the sides, and according the pictures from CNPS10X, the clamps need it. :/
