Are 120hz monitors woth it?

I bought a 60hz monitor late last year and was thinking should I have gone and bought a 120hz monitor?

If your computer can maintain a stable 120FPS then sure, a 120hz monitor is great, but if it can't then you might as well save your money.

Many tools can be used to track frames rate. I personal favorites are FRAPS and MSI Afterburner.

If you have an nvidia card, shadowplay has an FPS overlay that works as well and is a bit smaller than the others.

If you have the GPU/CPU power, yes. Your would get information faster and the game will feel smoother.
