Al right ive had my computer for about 6 months and my ram defaulted to 1333 mhz. After a while this started to bother me so I eventually bumped it up to 1600 using the bios with xmp. But when the computer shuts down and boots back up i get an error that says something along the lines of failed to boot as the clock settings may not match the hardware in your system. This is clearly bullshit as i can then boot from the bios and my ram will be at the 1600MHz speed that i initially set it to.

My specs are:
windows 8.1 pro (no service pack installed)
8GB 2x4G corsair ddr3 Non-ECC, CAS 9-9-9-24, XMP, 1.50v
CORSAIR H60
1TB SGATE
Intel Core i5 4670 S1150
700W cooler master bronze PSU
2GB XFX Radeon R9-270X 1050MHz
Gigabyte H81M-S2PV 1150 MoBo

Looking for help on how to fix this as it is very annoying hahaha
