Good day Sirs!,

I'm planning to upgrade (IF possible) my PC for me to be able to play DOTA 2. I would need to know what needs to be done. Please bear with me since I'm not that techy :( Also not that rich so I have this [strike]little[/strike] budget of mine since I'm still a student.

Here's some of what I found out about my computer:

  • Motherboard: FOXCONN 45CMX(?)
    OS: Windows 7 Home 32-bit
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU @ 2.53GHz
    Memory: 1024MB RAM DDR2
    DirectX Version: DirectX 11
    Aaaaaand NVIDIA GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS 505MB(?)
I can no longer find what other 'specs' are there for my PC but I'm kind of hoping the information I gave out would suffice. So uhm, is there still hope? Or should I just stop and buy a new PC when I can save? I'm hoping for your opinions/responses kind Sirs.

Thank you and hope you have a great day everyone!
*cross fingers*

Since I'm not familiar of exact prices in your country, I'll post a build outline that should come to around $500:

CPU: Pentium G3220
Motherboard: H81 Micro ATX
Ram: 8gb ( 2x4GB modules),
HDD: 1TB 7200RPM ( preferably, but I don't know how much storage you need)
PSU: Good quality PSU 400W and above ( see PSU list below)
Graphics card: Hd 7770, R7 260x, or GTX 750
Case: Mid tower case which can fit a micro atx motherboard

Try to find a PSU from tiers one through three from this list:

Awwwww :/ lets just say it's below $500. I wont need a very high performance PC. Just something that would let me play Dota 2 without sacrificing too much because of graphics or lag. My PC right now is a... trash.
