Hi,

I bought a computer and had it delivered to me 2 days ago. The Company i used Built and Installed the computer ready to use.

Problem is: I have a blurry screen, white lines are appearing when i try to play games. And i have a Gigantic mouse cursor... Inside Games and on the home screen.

The blurry screen problem i have looked around for an its not cleartyping (on or off makes no difference) I have updated my Monitor/tv to latest version. I also taught it maybe the HDMI cable which is about the only thing my computer uses, tried to change that but no changes there.
My monitor is: Samsung LE32C635K1W

The white lines in games is flimmering white lines that appear on fixed spots mostly. But outside games i can see on my steam there are white diagonal stripes around the Store,Library,Community and Nickname. There is also a Purple flowing colour there.

The Gigantic mouse cursor is something that comes and goes. I can play for a bit then it comes and suddenly its gone.

My New computer has:
xfx proseries xxx edition 850W PSU
AMD AM3+ FX 9590
Asus AM3+ Sabertooth 990FX r2.0 Motherboard
Kingson DDR3 HyperX Beast 32GB (4x8)
Sappire Radeon R9 290 4GB TRI-X OC I have 2 of this one for Crossfire
Windows 8.1
Other not so important i think
Silvertone Tundra TD02 CPU cooler

Update: The blurry screen seems to be my monitor. I tried another monitor and the problem was not there.

Sorry for late answear. The GPU is if im not mistaken in my case the Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB Tri-X OC right? should i uninstall the drivers for these also?
Also do you want me to physicaly remove the GPU from the Computer then reinstall or just unplugg the power?

Hi,
yes the GPU is the graphics card(Sapphire), it wouldnt be a bad idea to try a different GPU just a cheap use one anything, or if the motherboard has an on-board graphics card plug the monitor in to that and see how things turn out.

Ok thanks. I think i solved the problem by changing my monitor. My old one was a bit old and maybe not compatible with my new computer. Also did the Physical removal of the GPU just to be sure. Thanks a lot
