Hello. Browsing Google I happened across this website. As I can't figure out what's going on I figure I'll ask some smart people. (I'm not totally stupid, but I'm no genius Ether.)
Lately this last week and a half or so, I've. Started having problems with my online games.
Playing arma 3 on my pc, and CoD on my 360. The 360 gets hit with hard spikes of lag, usually a few times in a row every 15-30 minutes at random times. Lasting for 4-5 minutes.
As for my pc.
Playing arma 3 I'm on a server where I'm fusually* hanging out around 30-50 ping. But when I get random spikes it jumps anywhere from 600-1500. Same as Xbox, for about 4-5 minutes at a time. Some days it happens more, some days it's less. Both are using either net cables, not WiFi.
I replaced my grandpa's 7 year old router with my 2 year old one. Still happens.
I did the cmd with ping www.google.com -t that I saw someone suggest in another thread. Only got about 4-5 "request timed out" pop ups in the last 10-15 minutes. I'm watching it go while I post from my phone. (also not using WiFi currently)
Anyone have any ideas? My thoughts is its Ether the modem being old, or something with the isp. But I figured I'd ask here first.
