Ok so I recently bought a new psu seeing as multiple people said I should, i bought XFX XXX Edition 850W 80+ Bronze upgrading from Cooler Master G650M, 650W PSU.
However when I install the new PSU, my computer doesnt start. I made sure i plugged every cord in correctly, yet the computer doesnt start, I dont hear a fan or anything, all I hear is a short sound from the PSU itself.

does the XFX work in another build? I have 12 power supplies (not including the old OEM ones) and 4 builds. I test my XFX power supplies on all 4 builds as well. RMA is easy but shipping it back is kind of expensive. Double check everything one more time and then start the RMA process.

If you are absolutely, positively sure your connections are secure, check them again. No but seriously that's a quality PSU. But I guess some lemons slip by. Just do the paper clip test and check the volts with a mutimeter

ok, my new xfx ts 550 died after an hour however the box was crushed, not the interior xfx box but the exterior box that it was shipped in and the air-foam was all popped. I am going to test it again tomorrow but the fan didn't spin up with the paper clip test since the EVGA 750 B2 came with that 24 pin connector that mimics the paper clip test and when I flipped the switch, the fan didn't run at all.
