What's up dingos

Here's the situation: I was about to purchase an Alienware 17, but the cheapest version got its prossecor dropped from Intel Core i7 to i5... I don't want i5, I want i7. I tried to see if I could change the 1849.99$ (CAN) to fit what I first wanted, but I can't change the screen which is TrueLife HD with 3D stuff. I despise 3D and it gives me headaches. I don't want to spend 300$ for that! The other three options are starting at 2049.99$ (without taxes) that's getting a bit ridiculous...

What I am asking y'all: What should I get? I've been wanting an Alienware for since I'm 10, which is a full decade now. I am not an expert in building PCs or anything, so that's why I am asking for your help. I would really prefer a laptop over a desktop and I'd rather not build it myself.

Games I play: I mainly play World of Warcraft on my actual Toshiba (which is running just great), but I want to be able to play more games like Skyrim, The Elder Scrolls Online, Guild Wars 2 and a few others I can't think of right now. I have a budget of 2500$!
