I have been looking into the case for a while and was wondering if the sound dampening material (moduvents) affect the temperature? If so If I take out the 2 moduvents at the top of the case even though I will not be putting fans there will it decrease the temperature significantly? Thanks.

If the airflow is good within the case it won't matter whether they are off or not. I have the same case and my temps are actually lower when everything is closed off. There are plenty of areas for air to move around and escape.
