:O Serious? I highly suggest you do some reading on this.
I'm actually really worried about this. I hope IBM is going to continue on chip research as they partner with AMD and have helped come up with a lot of what makes their CPUs so good. (IMC, SOI, etc.) Without the partnership AMD might not have come up with some of this and could be farther behind.
