Hi, I want to install an SSD for my Gaming PC

My Rig....
- i5 - 2400 @ 3.1 Ghz
- EVGA GTX 660 SC ACX cooling....
Just bought last week...
- Seagate 1TB HDD 7200rpm
- Corsair 4GB 1333Mhz RAM
- Intel DH67CL motherboard
- AOC 20" 1920 x 1080 Full HD
- Cooler Master HAF 922, 3 fans
- Logitech G400s gaming mouse
- Cooler Master Extreme power plus 600W PSU

So, Becoz of my New GPU ( last GPU - GTS 450 GDDR5 1GB)
My parents have only allowed me to spend 80- 90$ max...

Also, which windows is best for gaming....i've all windows 7 built x86_x64 all versions & Windows 8 & 8.1 all versions

So, I need your suggestions

I've selected Samsung 840 Evo 120GB or OCZ Vertex 460 120GB....

Also should I upgrade my RAM to around 8GB....my parents could give me extra bucks for RAM......but for SSD....only 80-90$ MAX.......

Thanks...

8.1 Pro is absolutely not needed. Regular 8.1 works just fine.
Pro if you're in a corporate environment. There is zero performance difference. Pro is just wasted money unless you need the few added features.

Windows 8.1 Pro 64 for newer/future games. As to SSD I'd recommend a Mushkin in general and the $65 Mushkin Enhanced MKNSSDCR120GB-7 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) from Newegg in particular. I've had 3 and my Mushkin was best with my Crucial being worst. Upgrading Ram to 8GB would be wise. Win 8.1 is a memory hog. Desktop and background services use 15% of my 8GB Averix Core. Not a big name but look at reviews for it. Excellent memory and looks fantastic

I stand corrected. Simply my preference, though still believe 8.1 is best for gaming.

Haha. I get that alot. BTW found a dead, mummified rat in a computer once. Was still working too (the PC, not the rat. He was quite dead).
