my hard drive fried so i bought new one comp wont boot no operation system on the new hard drive comp runs windows xp pro i ha

how do i install windows xp pro with no disk but have the key i replaced the hard drive

    Which is problematic for XP. There is no valid XP ISO from MS that I know of.
  3. That's why I didn't specify XP. Any Windows will do. You'll have to buy a new key anyway.

    The OP was asking about XP. The key that he apparently has would work.

    Was this a preinstalled OS? If so, you 'might' be able to buy a Recovery disk set from the manufacturer.
    If it wasn't preinstalled, you need to buy a new OS. And you can't buy XP any more.
