so here is the deal i wish to over clock but just for the heads up which one is more useful memory clock or the core clock or are they equally important or one is slightly more/less important i am a big pc noob gonna build my first system soon so any help would be appreciated thank you

Solution
Assuming you are talking GPU OCing, both are important, would start with the core, take it up a bit, then the memory, back to the core, you want to experiment and find the best balance for performance
