I'm wanting to play dayz standalone with no lag maybe even be able to record gameplay, with fraps or something. Here is a part list I got from another website: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dxL4pg

The only thing I changed myself on the list is to have windows 7 instead of windows 8

I need to know if all the parts are compatible and if they will run Dayz Standalone at good quality and no lag (The current computer I have plays dayz at lowest settings only with 30 fps) So im sure anything good looking at 40-60 fps will be great.

The parts listed add up to barely over 500$ and I really like that price range, not really wanting to go to 600$ I want to stay in the 500-550 range. And im sure 10$ more than that would be ok.

So if someone who knows more about this stuff can tell me if 1) the parts will work together
2) I have everything i need in that list (I have all the accessories i need) and 3) if they will play dayz and most other games at medium to high settings with no lag

I'm not 100% sure what Dayz Standalone requires to run a stable 40-60fps. Although i would recommend maybe searching for a cheaper case, forget about the optical drive ( unless you use alot of cd-roms ). As for your CPu you could splash a little bit more money and grab the FX6300, it comes with two extra cores and a bigger cache. As far as your GPU, it is a good choice, yet you could probably find a 2gb card for around the same price that may come factory overclocked.

I'm no pro or anything, but i always do a lot of research before my builds.

Ok i changed the case to something a lot cheaper wasn't 100% sure its compatible with the other parts but it did say something about being compatible with atx motherboards? And i also upgraded the cpu to the fx6300, and got rid of the optical drive, should that work better now? I like the price difference just need to know if that case works

If playing Dayz is all you want to do then im sure that build is fine, the problem with dayz is it is still a work in progress and has a tendency to run like shit even on good computers.

Only thing i can say as game textures are becoming larger and larger you could benefit from 2gb of gpu memory, anything more than that is almost a waste unless your'e gaming at 1440p or multi monitor

OK.

I upgraded your ram to 1600MHz memory.
I put the Saphire 7790 on the list because it is the best 7790 i know of.

That being said this is a bit more expensive than you probably would like.

Although, I don't think you took into account the price of your video card.

P.S. I didn't choose the retailers you want to use so you may find some price variances.
