I'm looking for a build that is preferably <$500 but it can go over. I already have a 520w PSU, GPU and things like: mouse, keyboard, monitor, speakers. It also hopefully is better than my A8-5500 APU which is one of the main reasons I'm building something new (Along with case clutter). I prefer AMD but Intel is fine.

I do not plan on overclocking. Also, this is for gaming (Read the sticky and felt I should clarify)

CPU= i5 4460=$185
MoBo= Gigabyte H97- Gmaing3 = $103
RAM=Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) =$85
HDD=Seagate Barracuda 1TB=$57
Case=Rosewill R5 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case=$70
OS=Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit)=$100
total=$515

if youre not into OCing. Intel will be the best for gaming
make sure your PSU is on list of tier 1 & 2(a&b)

SeaSonic 520w power supply and a Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 1GB (I plan on getting a new GPU eventually)

think that is enough. if you will upgrade your gpu
