Reinstalled Windows 8 And Now PC is Freezing...

So I can't install drivers for my mobo or anything else besides the Windows Updates and those didn't freeze. The freezing began when I started playing BF:BC2 and stopped when I rebooted but now I'm not sure if my SSD is screwed. Help.

If you remove your drives, does the PC post OK?

If you only put the SSD in, can you install windows on it OK?

Have you also got windows on your hdd?

The OS is on my SSD, and the HDD is not being used.

Is the HDD out of your PC?

Does the SSD boot into Windows OK without the HDD on your PC?

Does the HDD also have an OS on it?

The HDD does not have an OS. I haven't tried running my PC without the HDD. I just ran it without the SSD and HDD it works fine so there's no error with the hardware.

I had to activate the partition as 'active' now it all works.
