I just got a 780 and I came from a hd7970 so I figured when it first booted up I'd have some issues but it booted for some reason it had green artifacts across the top of the screen and was at a terrible resolution but was working so naturally I went online and downloaded the most current drivers and as soon as I ran it as it started to install the driver it gave me full matrix artifacts and then went full on black and so I restarted and it now won't post to the bios at all and my vga error light is on. So I put my old card in which takes more wattage then the 780 so it can't be psu and it works fine. I think the card is faulty but this is my last resort. I'm on windows 8.1
