Well, I run the 8350 in my build and I couldn't be happier, so stamp of approval on that. What games are you looking into running (not specifics, just how graphically intensive, and how new etc)

Well if you plan on playing Minecraft, you definitely want some RAM, at least 8GB for good framerate as MC is very heavy into RAM since it's Java and Python based. The case you selected works fine, though I'd recommend picking that last as you know what needs to fit into it, rather than limiting your rig to what fits in the case, limit the case to the rig, if that makes sense. Here's my build if you want to have a starting point, though I have put more money into other places rather than the video card:
Mobo: 990FX Killer Fatal1ty
CPU: AMD 8350
GPU: nvidia 550Ti, old but it still runs skyrim quite well.
SSD- 128GB Samsung 830 (just holds steam games)
HDD: WD Blue 1TB for data
RAM: 16GB of G.SKILL X Series
PSU: Corsair 760i
Case: Corsair 600T. It's humongous but the airflow and cable management are insanely good.
HDD: WD Blue 1TB for data

Perhaps my build will help you get a good starting point?

I'd rather have either a i3 or a FX 6300 (mostly the FX 6300).

Especially since the low budget.

If you won't be satisfied with an i3, you won't with an 8350, especially since most games are currently 2-4 threaded.

Also, not sure of the price of the 550ti, but if it's similar to the 7770 or R7 250X, get that instead

Finally, just get 2x4 GB RAM and a newer SSD like the MX100 (never even heard of the 830 but a Google search turned up this http://ssd.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Samsung-830-256GB-...)

The 990FX Killer Fatal1ty has a lot of issues.

I'd love to know what they are, if you don't mind sharing. I got it to replace another board and have loved it for a few months now.

The nic usually has issues.

Freezing \ throttling.

You might have a good one.
