I was wondering if there are any laptops around or under the $200 price range that can Run sims 3 and about 10 expansion packs at around 35 FPS. Thanks.

It sounds very doable. He said he got 30+ when not recording video of gameplay. These hardware specs look to be almost identical. Both recent 2-core Intel CPU's with similar frequency and HD graphics.

My high-end desktop (GTX680/i7) can run at max settings over 200FPS if I wanted though I'd use 60FPS. The problem is it STUTTERS like crazy. It's a common complaint and has NEVER been fixed. Maybe it won't affect you as much.
