Hi, I wonder if anyone can help with my problem, I started my computer after moving it to another room this morning and the monitor reported no vga signal, I usually only have the DMI plugged in but I plugged in the normal VGA and I could at least see the screen this did not fix my problem however, the resolution was all over the shop and I couldn't run any games. I ran dxdiag and in display it was not detecting my card, only standard vga graphics adapter.
I googled a bit and I ran about these forums but there was no particular one that had the same problem, I cracked it open and the fans on the card seem to be spinning and everything seems to be connected right but it just doesn't seem to want to run.
Another odd thing is when I boot the usually BIOS prompt doesn't come up, I can get into the BIOS by pressing the usual keys, dont know if its related but though id mention it.
My graphics card is a couple of years old, cant remember the exact model and cant detect it but its an asus radeon around the 6700 range(i think)
Any help would be greatly appreciated, its Saturday and its gaming time.

Solution
Hello... during a Move the Graphics card could become dislodged...
1) With power off...
2) Remove the screw, that hold the card to your Case )
3) Remove your Video card carefully ( there is a release tab on the MB slot, at the back of the card ( PUSH IN )
4) Re-insert the card
5) Connect the DVI cable back ito your monitor and video card.
6) Power on your Monitor and set it for the DVI input ( use the push buttons on the monitor )
7) Boot up your Computer and see if Windows now loads the Video card name .
6) If no display try the Other DVI connector on your Video card.
