I'm replacing my old Nvidia Geforce Gt 610 with a MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Gaming Video Card. And I'm concerned that the card is a little bit to long but again I'm not sure, it may just fit in there, but I want to be sure so I'm not wasting my money.

That more depends on the case and the power supply then the motherboard. What computer are we talking about?

+1^
And the GTX 750/750 Ti being a new architecture will probably require a late MB BIOS to be properly recognized.

The computer was originally a HP Pavilion a6400f, since then I have upgraded the case, the hard drive, and put a few fans on it. As well as getting the graphics card I'm going to be getting a 430 watt power supply to power it.

If it's a good quality 430W PSU it will be more than enough for the 750 Ti.
But quick question... Is this your PC? http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAG...

If so, the GT 610 must be a card you added later. Is that correct?

Yes both of those are correct.

Yes both of those are correct.

Then you're probably alright with the GTX 750. My only concern was that the PC might have a 'locked' BIOS. HP used to be good for doing that in the past. But if your aftermarket card works, chances are very good the 750 will too.

As far as physically fitting, there should be no issue. Most GTX 750 cards are quite short. Which GTX 750 Ti are you looking at getting?

It's a little cheaper at Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Hopefully you won't have an issue with the old BIOS in your HP. There has been a number of posters here that can't get the 750/750 Ti to work in their older HPs.
