I have a A10-6800K with the integrated 8670D graphics. I can also get my hand on a radeon HD 7500 video card or a R7 250x videoe card .

Should I use dual graphics with my a10-6800K pairing with HD 7750? or turn off the internal 8670D and just use the R7-250x? what has higher performance?

And yes the a10-6800K can dual with HD7750, see this article confirming.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/dual-graphics-cross...

i also called AMD, they confirmed that yes the a10-6800K is able to dual with the radeon 7750 or 7730, even though it's not offical. I asked about dual graphic with HD 7770, the AMD rep said he wouldn't recommend it... I am not sure if that means it can't be done or that it could be but not recommended, since both 7750 and 7770 are same core just different specs.

Is it possible that I am able to dual graphics with HD 7770? if it is possible, is it possible that I would not gain any benefits from it, or that it might even bring the performance down from just using a 7770 instead of 7770 + 8670D?

And that makes me wonder... since the r7-250x is supposed to be a rebranded HD 7770, would I be able to dual the a10-6800K with the r7-250x? If I can, should I?

thanks!

Dual 7750s would be a joke, no offense, because double the power usage, and 2 low performance cards will generate heat and you would be better off buying a SINGLE R7 265 or really a R9 270.

Still, it users up more wattage of ur PSU, more heat, and SLI with LOWEND cards doesnt make sense. You want something a step up.

For your needs, cancel that R7 and R9 i recommended, get a GTX 750 Ti from MSI and it will be fine.

Then just use the dual 7750.

hmmmm but according to this benchmark site:

http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.php

the 8670D + Radeon HD 7700 Dual has a Passmark G3D Mark score of: 1788

the Radeon HD 7770 has a score of :2154

and the r7-250x is just a HD 7770 rebrand. So then according to that site, i am better off using just the discrete r7-250x over the 8670D + 7750 dual ? Can someone confirm I should do that?
