I apologize if this thread is in the wrong place in advance.
I have a AMD fx 8350 and have been happily using it for work and gaming since february but starting on thursday 7/24 whenever I try to load up a graphically intense game my entire PC will shut down lose power then reboot. No BSOD (yes, i did uncheck the reboot in system > advance) when i check the event viewer there is a critical error event ID 41 task category 63. I have a lot of spare parts from building other computers so i swapped out the GPU and RAM and the issue didn't go away. I went out and got a Corsair 850 RM 80+ gold PSU and that also did not fix the issue. I used OCCT/Speccy/CPUID and the cpu temp never got above 55 c under full load. UEFI shows the voltage for 12V / 3.3V / 5V at exactly where they should be. Here's the fun part, if i test the GPU or CPU separately then the system doesn't crash but if i load a game or use heaven benchmark it will crash, and the icing on the cake is i went back into the UEFI and under advance i changed the CPU cores that are active from all eight to only numbers 1 2 3 & 4 and the issue doesn't happen.
It is confusing to read that i know but that is my situation, anything anyone can think of would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you
