Just using PCpartpicker. I live in Malaysia/Brunei and part availability isn't at all that great. I can't get the 212 evo or any XFX PSU either. And dual Channel ram is $15 USD more than the single stick. I am on a strict budget of $900 USD. Any recommendations? I've already bought the case and optical drive. Trying to keep it under $850 USD if possible :)  Also I don't need the OS. Already have the disk.

Thanks.

The total cost of this in my country is 934 USD. And the Asus-A motherboard is $20 more expensive than this ... And the Z97-K mobo is $20 less too.

I like this build.

CPU: 4690K is great. I have it in my build. +1

Cooler: Dunno why you need it, but the Hyper 212 is great too :)

Motherboard: Can't go wrong with the z97. Don't have much to say about it.

Memory: I'd go 2x4 instead of 1x8, but kingston is good RAM.

Storage: WD makes good HDDs. Nothing to say here.

GPU: I like the 280. I have the 270x in my build and I am satisfied with it :)

PSU: SeaSonic makes stape PSUs. You will be fine with 550w.

Overall, pretty good. It'll run most (if not all) games on high.

Thanks! Well. The asrock extreme 4 is the same price as gaming 5 ($150) Is Coolermaster reliable for PSU's? I use lelong.com.my for shopping!

That cooler master will do fine with a single gpu build like the one you put together. If you can get that one for a good price (better than the seasonic) go for it.You can find a review about the cooler master vsm on jonnyguru if you want to see,not the 550watt though.

It is a very good build you put too much into the cpu compared too the gpu, For best performance lower the cpu too the i5-4570-4590k and get the R9 280x using the money you saved. Also the Caviar blacks and Greens are much faster and the Greens are more Panda Friendly (Eco)

Another board too Consider is the Msi Z87-G45 Gaming, Its a cheap board with the features of higher end boards and it supports 3 Way XFire and 2 Way Sli

If he wants to overclock he needs a "K" series cpu and the 4590K doesn't exist.

Ahh, Sorry didn't realise, But its better to spend much more on the gpu than the cpu, The Graphics card is whats really going too increase your performance, Not the cpu unless you play cpu intensive games, Example: Watchdogs and mine craft. (Even then Gpu is more important)

The problem here is that, the R9 280x is $100 more for about 5% performance increase over in my country :/  And I get the crappy Vapor-x versions, like the dual fan versions :(  And so Seasonic seems like the best choice. They are the cheapest PSU's in my country other than some random crappy China brands.

I would like to know which one you would choose
http://www.lelong.com.my/seasonic-m12-ii-520-620w-80plu...
http://www.lelong.com.my/seasonic-power-supply-s12g-gol...
Which one would you go for? Difference is around 13 USD.

And because there aren't many options for GPU's in Malaysia, and an R9 290 cost $473 (100 overpriced ...) I can't do an FX 8350 and R9 290. If I was in America I could ... But too bad :p  Also the older versions of Intel are all the same price. The non-k versions are only a few dollars cheaper.

Both psu choices are good, the difference is in energy efficiency->gold vs bronze which in the end isn't such a hugh deal and being modular=the M12II.Just look at what you prefer looking at the differences.
Looking at that case is modular probably a good choice seeing that it has no real cable management options.Depending on if molex are necessary could you keep one or two cables out of the case.
What does the case cost?
Or maybe a link?
You really like this one? Just buy it then!
