Okay I have a kinda crappy system. I have a fx 6100 processor with a Gigabyte 78lmt-usb3 motherboard. With a gigabyte R9 280x. I have the processor over clocked to 3.9mhz. I have a custom built box with 6 fans. When i'm playing games like Assassins Creed Black flag on max settings i get temps of 70c, but when i play the witcher 2 on high- max settings it gets up to 87c. I just don't get it. I'm gonna try to get some new thermal paste on gpu and see how that goes. Please if i can get some feed back asap.

I wouldn't advise applying thermal paste yet as that would automatically void your warranty and that could mean you're stuck with the problem. Instead, try contacting the manufacturer as your temps are very high and your card shouldn't be that warm, even in-game.

If your warranty is finished make sure you have a good source of air into the card and are not blowing hot air into it.
You may have 6 fans but use an intelligent configuration to have some pushing air in and some as exhaust fans...

Yes I am, but for my cpu it stays below 50c. The graphics cards are running at stock clock and voltage, but still geting crazy hot.

Gigabyte cards are generally well built and Gigabyte have a good 3 year warranty with all their products (I believe) so your first option should be to contact them and see what they can do for you in terms of a replacement card.
