Hey guys, i just bought a ga z97x sli mobo and a i5 4690k cpu and im ready to put them into my old cpu, once thats done and everyhting it plugged in am i good to go? can i turn it on and it will run like normal? thanks

It should run like normal. You may have to reinstall your OS, not positive though.

well the pc was given to me from a friend so i cant reinstall the os so should i give it a shot?

You'll most likely have to uninstall the old motherboard drivers and install new ones, otherwise you might have some problems.
