Had a few questions about the ASUS m5a99x EVO 2.0

1.Can my Asus m5a99x evo 2.0 use 3 pin fans? I plan on using 4 fans for my cougar case and i need to know if i should get 3 pin fans or also get 4 pin adapters for them.

2.Will a be able to crossfire two gpus on this board?

3.Not a real questions but i want to know if anyone have had ram problems with this case. I hear that a lot

4.Is the cooler master evo 212 a good choice for this mobo? (I have a AMD fx 8320)

1. Yes, the M5A99X EVO 2.0 can use 3-pin fans (in the 4-pin fan connectors). The 4-pin connectors are actually made in such a way that one cannot install them the wrong way, unless they try really hard.

2. Yes, you can CrossFireX two GPUs on this board.

2. Yes, you can CrossFireX two GPUs on this board.

3. Follow the QVL (qualified vendors list) provided on the ASUS web site: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A99X_EVO_R20/HelpDesk_QVL/, for the approved memory modules and you will minimize any "ram problems".

4. The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO is quite a nice CPU heatsink/fan set-up, and you should not have any issues installing it on the M5A99X EVO, in a standard east-to-west orientation.
