Would this gaming build I'm planning on setting up work out?

This would be the first rig I've ever made, and due to my inexperience, it's probably best I run my idea by some people! This is what I've come up with after some searching:

GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 770
CPU: i5 3570k
Cooling: Mugen 4
MoBo: ASRock z77 extreme4
RAM: 8GB (1x8 or 2x4?)
HDD: 1TB
SSD: 128GB
PSU: SeaSonic M12II
Casing: Corsair 400R

Along with..
Monitor: ASUS VX229H
OS: Windows 8.1

I haven't quite worked out the specifics to RAM, HDD, and SSD yet. The point for my building this would be to play WoW, which I've previously played on my crummy home desktop. With the game in mind, I'd like to know if this would all work out! When it comes to any other hardware suggestions, I'd like to note that I don't plan on going over $1600 USD (Thanks for the heads-up, Calnin!). I think these components altogether will keep me under that price, not taking in consideration for shipping.

Is that 1600 in AUD/CAD/USD?

Go with 2x4 for 8gb RAM.

As for the CPU+ motherboard, if it's not a big expense, go with a i5 4690k + asrock z97 extreme4. It's a more recent chip with a newer architecture. If its within budget, might as well go for it.

Noted, I'll definitely look into two sticks of RAM.

Those changes to the CPU and motherboard sound all well and good and manageable for the price. But, should the computer run well with these specs? As in, a good match between the CPU, GPU, MoBo, etc. so that no one component creates a sort of unbalance when paired up with another. Also, should they all be able to fit in the case? I've read that the Mugen itself is pretty big.

The cooler should be able to fit.

The System will still be good. It's still an i5 system.
