What memory is compatible with a Hero VII?

Hi I am wondering what RAM I can put in a Hero VII.. I know Asus has a QVL list but I see guys use RAM that isnt on that list.. I want to use G.KILL Ares or HyperX white edition! Thanks for you help

you can use both of the kit names you listed, the speed isn't a factor for the board to decide but the CPU.

There is no need to abide by what Asus says of what ram works best, all do as long as the voltage/speed and type (DDR) is supported.

Hero VII supports DDR3 RAMs with speed upto 3100MHz. G.Skill/HyperX/Corsair etc any DDR3 RAM would be compatible on this mobo. They simply can't check each and every model under each brand name for its inclusion in QVL list.

You are good to go with G.Skill (Preferably Trident) or HyperX RAM on Hero VII
