In March of this year I purchased an Alienware X51 desktop, I didn't have any issues with it at first until one summer day when it was about 95 degree F outside and in my apartment and it seemed fine, till half way through a Guild Wars 2 instance the graphics bled HARD. Even after letting it rest for a day or two it didn't stop bleeding, even my desktop wallpaper had purple rips in it. When I took it in my graphics card apparently needed to be replaced. Now it works as well as before, but I keep checking the temperature now since it worries me when I'm playing games while it's hot in my apartment (although now I have a fan at my desk which seems to help) I was just wondering how hot it could get without causing damage... When I checked right after the issues started it was at 49 degrees Celsius, so now I'm afraid to run it past 46 which is hard to do in the summer. When I usually first turn it on it averages at 36-39 celsius. I feel like maybe because the X51 is so compact for a desktop it might not have the best cooling system >>

Your temps are fine as long as they don't go past 70-80 you'll be good.

Hope this helps :)
