Hello! I have a PC, a fiber optic modem and a router wireless. The modem is plugged to the outlet and the wireless is connected to the modem. Also , the wireless is connected to the PC too.
It is just like this: Outlet-Fiber optic-Wireless-PC
My wireless is a 300 mbps one but somehow it is showing that i have a 100 mbps one(in task manager)I have Windows 7 64-bit
I remember that with my last PC(the same configuration) I had over 1 mb/s at downloads (average 4-5 mb/s) and sometimes even 8 or 8,5 mb/s (in downloads, torrents e.t.c.)
Well, now I am telling you that on my current PC my average download speed is 300-400 kb/s (maximum 700 kb/s).
I have all the drivers up to date.
My wireless router is a TRENDNET TEW-652BRP v3.2R and my fiber optic is a ZTE ZXA10 F625A
Help me! My internet speed is slow(not only the downloads, everything-if i want to download something and play an online game, the internet connection is working very slow -my download speed is going very down and my online game is not working as it should be)
Also, I am registered-as network-at RDS&RCS.
Help!

Man, I am already using a wired connection. If you look more closely to the topic you`ll see that it is just like this:
Outlet-Fiber optic-Wireless-PC (it is a wired connection. all of them are connected via cables.)
Help me please! My internet is so slow that if I am downloading something and I want to watch a HD/Full HD video, I CAN`T!!!

You said "My wireless is a 300 mbps one but somehow it is showing that i have a 100 mbps one(in task manager)" - so have you or haven't you got wireless. If you have, then you've got a wifi adapter in your pc.

Routers and adapters can run single band - 2.4GHz or dual band - 2.4 plus 5GHz.

So do you have wifi?

If so, do you have dual band wifi?

I am not so good in this domain. The only thing I know is that I have a 2 antenas wi-fi with 2.4Ghz at 300 mbps wireless router. And yes, I do have wi-fi (For e.g. on my phone, tablet, - they can connect to the wireless). I don`t know if i have a dual band wifi.
