Title pretty much says it all.

Built my first ever PC last night, all went well except the GPU (Gigabyte 7970 Ghz) has these blue horizontal lines on the screen. If i remove it and use the HDMI port on the I/O shield, the graphical glitches are all gone.

So i'm wondering, will i be creating any problems or anything if i continue setting up my computer as normal with the GPU uninstalled? Will i even be able to install my OS and drivers and programs and is will there be any issues with installing a working GPU in a week or so...?

Thanks!

Solution
Absolutely. Go ahead, install everything. When the time comes, you simply add the GPU, move the monitor cables to the GPU and then afterwards install the driers. No problem.
