How good and future proof is this pc?

Should last a year with no replacements and play games like Rome 2 total war on High and Ultra and future games on medium. THANKS FOR THE REPLIES!!!
BTW Should I get 1tb hardrive or 120gb SSD, I pan to game and do work on here.

This is exactly my build .. I had it done recently for $800... From all the research I did, this build should be stable for the next 4-5 years "at least" .. playing the present titles at ultra @ 1080p and all future titles with a mix of medium to high settings.

we have the same rig though i used an i5 4570. the card is great for gaming at 1080p. its hard to say that this card or any other card will last longer because every year they develop games which will need a machine which is more capable in handling such task. they intend to be more graphically demanding until such time that lower end cards will not handle the task being handled. XD

Nothing is true future proof.every product is updated eventually.
you should be able to play at med-high today.and later you will be down to low-med

get and r9270(not the x unless its about the same price) or gtx 750
m
